Buying Haunted Houses in Ancient Times

There’s a home called Anju Hall in Yonghe Lane, and it specializes in buying and selling old houses. Its proprietress looks unremarkable and seemingly delicate, but in truth, she is Mu Jingzhe, the Ghost King of Youdu, who has ruled there for tens of thousands of years. She gives the Celestial Court headaches, makes the mortal world wary, and terrifies demons and monsters alike. While lying low in the human world, Mu Jingzhe does only three things: buy haunted houses, seek old friends, and eliminate evil spirits... In the county yamen, Shen Du suddenly sneezes and looks up at the red-clad woman hanging upside down from a beam. A guide to the story: ① An overpowered female Ghost King who loves buying haunted houses vs. a sickly young county magistrate haunted by a hundred ghosts ② The heroine has a double identity, and the hero has a dual personality. ③ Episodic stories, with equal focus on plot and romance. The setting is fictional, so don’t overthink the historical details.
