Naraku’s Monologue:

(At the moment of his death, his fingertips touched the Shikon Jewel. The obsession in the darkness became his final wish...)

(The jewel’s light flickered. His consciousness sank into chaos. When he opened his eyes again, wind stirred the maple leaves, and the scent of soil mingled with the smell of blood. Not far away, a miko in white and crimson stood still among the trees, like a dream.)
