[Period setting + everyday life + entrepreneurship + love that grows over time + college entrance exams]
[A gentle, beautiful heroine who won’t let anyone push her around VS a well-built hero with a secret crush on her]
Cheng Jianwei was a second-year literature student, but somehow she ended up as the country bumpkin wife of the villainous male lead in a clichéd novel called My Life as an Educated Youth.
The villainess was deceived in both love and body, and eventually died a miserable death in the hospital.

Back in the 1970s, Cheng Jianwei is determined to get into college again.
What? The college entrance exams haven’t been reinstated yet? No problem. It’s 1975, so she has two years to keep studying and prepare.
What? Her family is short on money? No problem. Her literary talent is burning bright, and she can earn money by selling her writing.

Huo Zheng considers himself lucky. Despite his bad class background, the brigade leader is willing to write him a letter of recommendation to join the army.
But he has a secret: he’s fallen for the pretty Cheng girl from the village. He’s always believed that you can only make your dreams come true if you dare to act, so Huo Zheng makes his move.

Everyone says Cheng Jianwei will suffer if she marries Huo Zheng, and might even starve until she’s seeing stars. But then who is this radiant beauty wearing a floral dress, a hair clip, and crystal sandals?
Huo Zheng: “If you’ve won her heart, you have to cherish it.”
A story about a courageous college student rising to the top of life.
It's hard to review this book. As long as it's a female, it doesn't matter who the young or old are. They all hate the heroine because of her face, just like the enemy who killed her father. Anyway, I don't understand what the author is trying to do [awkward laugh]
