In 2025 AD, the mysterious APP "Wanshitong" projected short videos into the long river of history - when modern fragments broke into the thousand-year time and space, the trajectory of civilization suddenly shifted.
The pipa girl in the Chang'an Jiaofang stared at the top anchor dancing passionately on the screen, tearing up the music score and shouting "This is the real freedom"; the emperor in the Forbidden City stared at the image of the intercontinental missile piercing the sky, and was so frightened that he broke the imperial seal; Du Fu huddled in the hut during the famine, repeatedly playing the hybrid rice planting video, and the turbid tears soaked the remaining volumes of "Three Officials and Three Farewells". Someone even bolder printed out the "Guide to the Peasant Uprising", and instantly there was an undercurrent of refugees from all over the dynasty. The emperor dispatched the imperial army overnight to blockade the inn...
From the willow alley with fireworks to the Golden Palace, from the beacon fire at the frontier to the smoke in the market, ancient and modern values collide fiercely in the algorithm push. While Emperor Qianlong was scribbling an imperial edict to "strictly investigate those who deceive people with evil talk", programmers in the 21st century were typing out the last line of code - will this flood of information across dimensions eventually annihilate the old dynasty, or reshape a new era?

First review! Dayu'er's 1986 "Tampering with the History of the Dynasty in the Era of Screen Resurrection" is an ancient historical novel. The work caused a torrent of short videos in 2025 to pour into Chang'an Jiaofang, the Forbidden City and Du Fu's thatched cottage. When ancient people encountered hot dance anchors, intercontinental missiles and the "Guide to Peasant Revolt", the awakening of the pipa girl tearing up the music score, the panic of the emperor breaking the jade seal, and the crisis of the undercurrent of the refugees, together constituted a carnival and shock in the dimension of civilization. The novel uses absurd jokes to wrap up the proposition of deconstructing tradition through technology. In the collision of ancient and modern values, it asks whether we in the information age are reshaping history, or whether the future is being tampered with by algorithms.
