He Yuqing is mocked by Silly Zhu, who says he won’t last three days after splitting from the family. He turns around and whips out his hunting license, eagerly claiming all the System’s rewards!
On the first day, he shoots a wild boar through the head and trades it for a sewing machine. On the second, he hunts a black bear and scores a Phoenix-brand bicycle. While Silly Zhu is so hungry he’s gnawing on pickled vegetables, He Yuqing is directing a pack of hunting dogs to surround a sika deer. “Jia Zhangshi, hand over the grain coupons you’ve been hiding to pay off your debt!”
The old and young of the Siheyuan watch He Yuqing put a gold necklace around Yu Li’s neck, and suddenly realize that the enamel mug Silly Zhu smashed when the family split up all those years ago was actually a fragment of a family heirloom!
