The Scent of Gardenias

The day after my body was thrown into the river, Song Yan called me back.

"Tang Zhi, stop making a scene! I won't marry Shen Ying, but this child has to stay."

My soul floated up into the air. I saw Song Yan holding a pregnancy report, gently running his fingers over it.

On the sofa nearby, my mother-in-law lovingly spoon-fed chicken soup to that woman.

A perfect match, a happy and loving family.

I wonder.

When they learn I'm dead, will they still be able to live so happily?
