Surviving the Apocalypse: The Goddess Slays Her Way Through

[Apocalypse game + fighting monsters and leveling up + targets self-righteous do-gooders + no romance]

To resist the coming apocalypse, the Chinese authorities developed an apocalypse battle royale game, hoping to help the people of China survive by using a space in another world.

During the game’s early development, players were needed for beta testing.

The game’s official team therefore offered a hefty reward.

Xia Yu, a first-year law student at Jing University in Beijing, signed up to earn enough money for her surgery.

During her first beta test, her teammates betrayed her, and she failed to clear the game.

Thanks to the extra life armor she fought desperately to obtain, she got another chance to start over.

This time, she wouldn’t show mercy. She killed monsters, seized supplies, collected points, and claimed every resource she could get her hands on, climbing to the top of the rankings and making a comeback.

The game continued to be upgraded and improved. When the apocalypse arrived, the number of players in the chat lobby kept growing.

But one person’s name appeared on the screen again and again.

Combat Power Rankings: First place was hers.

Wealth Rankings: First place was hers.

Level Rankings: First place was hers.

Exploration Rankings: First place was hers.

Pet Rankings: First place was hers.

It was her, her, and still her.

An SSS-rank ability talent, the Dragon Warrior’s contracted master, a level-ten mechanical genius, an unrivaled combat powerhouse, the queen of exploration, a tycoon swimming in money...

People had been talking about her from the very beginning, and the chatter never stopped.

In a city teeming with danger, what was more frightening than monsters was the human heart.

But in the end, she fought her way to the finish all on her own.
