The story begins after King Wu defeated Zhou in 1046 BC. The survivors of the Yin and Shang Dynasties traveled through the "Eye of Guixu" and came to the mysterious island "Guixuzhou" in the depths of the Pacific Ocean. The island was carried by the basalt beast and was surrounded by fog all year round. It was home to luminous plants and giant marine creatures. They developed the "Spirit Pattern Technique" based on tortoise shell divination, which can control the water element; they established the city-state "Xuan Shang" and adopted a two-king co-governance system to form a unique marine civilization.
