Hunter X Hunter: I Have Two Types of Nen Ability

Fan Chun was an orphan until a married couple adopted him. In the hands of his adoptive parents, he was treated worse than their dog. They fed the dog well and gave it plenty of treats, while Fan Chun spent every day training, being beaten and scolded. Surviving four years with them was a miracle in itself. When he was ten, his adoptive parents taught him the basics of Nen Ability. He endured two more painful years like this. Then, suddenly, the family received happy news: his adoptive mother was expecting a baby. Joy filled the whole house. Everyone was swept up in it except Fan Chun. A few days later, his adoptive parents seemed to remember that they had another child. They put on a show of buying Fan Chun a clean new outfit and taking him out for a meal. Then they sent him to Meteor City, saying it would be good experience for him. But they both knew what this really was: abandonment, plain and simple. They would never come back. Watching them walk away, Fan Chun finally felt a sense of relief. But leaving one place only meant entering another kind of hell. Still, it felt wonderful not to have to put up with his adoptive parents’ abuse anymore. He just felt sorry for the child in his adoptive mother’s belly. In a way, Fan Chun had them to thank. Without them, he would never have survived in Meteor City. ///////////// One male lead, no CP, and no significant romance. Don’t ship characters who aren’t together. Otherwise, do as you like. There is only one important original character in this story, the protagonist, so enjoy without worry.
