[Strong Female Lead] + [Revenge] + [Mystery Solving] + [Rational Hopeless Romantic] + [Male Best Friend as the Hero]
When Liu Ruoran was a child, assassins attacked her whole family. Of the vast Liu household, only Liu Ruoran survived.
Her master saved her during the attack and took her back to the mountain.
He gave her the name Jiang Zhiyu and taught her martial arts and medicine, giving her a second chance at life.
On the mountain, Jiang Zhiyu went from being timid and cautious to enjoying every day with her fellow senior and junior disciples and her martial brother.
She buried the pain of her past deep in her heart.
A mysterious letter tore away the disguise Jiang Zhiyu had maintained for years. She hadn't forgotten. She cared deeply. She wanted revenge for her family, and she wanted to uncover the truth!
She had to go down the mountain!
After descending, Jiang Zhiyu saved Leng Jingzhi in an accident. He was someone whose life had been much like her own.
They were alike: both had deep-seated grudges to avenge and loved people they could never have. And yet there was a difference. Leng Jingzhi was up against the conventions of society, but what about her?
It was almost laughable. The person who had repeatedly sworn to love her had gone to extraordinary lengths to weave an enormous deception around her.
She had been made a fool of... She hated it! And she couldn't accept it...
If the throne is what you want, then I'll help you claim it... But I'll be the one to sit on it. You owe me this!
