For Shi Xuanhe's sake, even after completing my mission, I stayed in this unfamiliar world of beastmen.
I taught his people everything I knew, from farming and fire-making to all my medical skills, and helped him become the leader of the Lion Clan.
But after the war between the land and the sky, he brought back a delicate woman.
"Wanwan, this female is the widow of the former Lion Clan leader."
"According to clan rules, she'll be my leader's wife."
Seeing the graceful woman behind Shi Xuanhe, with her wild Lion Clan beauty, I felt as if I'd fallen into an icy abyss.
"What if I don't agree?"
For the first time, Shi Xuanhe turned a cold face toward me. He insisted on keeping the woman and, seven days later, elevated her to the position of leader's wife.
After that, Shi Xuanhe never came to see me again.
Yet every day, I could hear suggestive sounds coming from their cave next door.
I silently carved the passing days into the stone wall.
In one month, a flood powerful enough to destroy an entire tribe would arrive.
