Genshin Impact: Seven Reincarnations, I Am the Strongest

(There’s heartbreak ahead, a whole lot of it.) (The timeline and plot have been changed.)

His name is Long Yan, a small shopkeeper who loves growing tea and brewing wine. But long, long ago, he had a very different identity.

In Liyue, he was Long Xian, king of the adepti. He joined forces with the Geo Archon, Morax, to bring the Archon War to an end. When the Abyss invaded and Liyue stood on the brink of ruin, Long Xian gave up all his adeptal power to win Liyue a sliver of hope. “Liuyun, would you taste next year’s new tea for me?” “Zhongli, in the end, I managed to protect this land for you.”

In Inazuma, he was Long Xian, the greatest swordsman. He and Raiden Ei grew close, and when the Khaenri'ah catastrophe struck, he promised to guard Narukami Island until she returned safely. In the end, his sword broke, and he died. “Why can’t a human fall in love with a god?” “Ei, I’ll wait for you to come back with Makoto.”

In Natlan, he was Long Xian, the God of Crafts, and Mavuika’s childhood friend. He watched Mavuika become the Pyro Archon, and watched her give her life to the Sacred Flame. For the plan that spanned five hundred years, and to ensure Natlan would endure five centuries later, Long Xian sacrificed his own flesh and blood to perform the art of spirit-forging, keeping the Sacred Flame’s altar stable for a hundred years. “Mavuika may cry, but the Pyro Archon cannot.” “Even five hundred years could not wear down the will called love.”
