The Ugly Girl Turns Down the Retired Emperor and Steals the Tyrant's Beloved

After Jiang Yu disfigures herself, the Retired Emperor wants to marry her and make her either Empress Dowager or a princess, while the tyrant wants her to be either a princess or his favorite concubine. Four noble positions for her to choose from. Retired Emperor: Jiang Yu, as Empress Dowager, you would be The Outcast, second only to one and above everyone else. That is a thousand times better than being a mere concubine. Tyrant: Jiang Yu, he is old and no longer up to the task. You will be left a widow in all but name. Only after a long dream does Jiang Yu realize she mistook her enemy for her benefactor. When she wakes, two choices lie before her. The first difficult choice: become Empress Dowager or a concubine. The other great question is who was behind her Jiang family's downfall: the Retired Emperor or the tyrant? She will investigate carefully and resolutely refuse to repeat her past mistake of treating her family's enemy as her father. She will make every one of her enemies pay their blood debt.
