I wrote this about ten years ago and posted it on another platform after finishing 110,000 words. I didn't think much of it at the time, but looking back now, this book is the work that best reflects my style. There's also an SP that serves as an extension of the world. If I get the chance, I'll publish it as a short story. For now, let's let the story end in peace.
Everyone is waiting for the long winter to pass. Even sheltering in a refuge, they don't know if they'll survive it.
All right! Come on, then. Even if it's freezing and snowing outside, even if there's only enough food for one last meal, people can still smile, can't they?
The cheerful everyday moments keep piling up, almost making everyone forget that they're facing a crisis that threatens the survival of humanity.
No one's playing around. Everyone is earnestly thinking about how to stay alive. But why can't the struggle to survive be a little... happier?
Both books are very good, unexpectedly excellent. I hope I will have the same luck to read such excellent novels in the future.
