After I Stabilized the Realm for the Monarch, He Supports His Back Every Day on the Way to Court

[Two male leads + equally powerful leads + faithful to each other + happy ending + power struggle and scheming + calculating prime minister VS obsessive tyrant] On the day the late emperor dies, Yan Jingze, the fifth prince, arrives at the funeral hall with a sword and forces all the court officials to support his succession. The officials refuse to submit. After several rounds of objections, they finally enrage Yan Jingze. He murders them before the late emperor's memorial tablet. His ruthlessness and brutality leave everyone terrified. After Yan Jingze takes the throne, everyone fears him. He becomes known as a tyrant of his age. The remaining factions at court split into two camps. One supports the third prince's bid for power, while the other sides with the fourth prince and opposes Yan Jingze. At the time, Yan Jingze believes there is no one at court he can trust. But he never expects Su Ningchuan, the prime minister personally appointed by the late emperor, to quietly stay by his side, help him overcome every obstacle, and gradually warm Yan Jingze's long-frozen heart.
