Transmigrating to the Cultivation World, I Survive by Clinging to Powerful Figures

[Two male leads + cultivation + evenly matched power]

Shu Fan is struck by lightning and sent to the cultivation world, landing right in front of Xuan Mo, who is bathing in a cold pool. Xuan Mo is on the brink of qi deviation. He is just about to kill this unknown person who fell from the sky when he discovers that Shu Fan’s presence calms the Dao Fruit raging inside him and pulls him back from the brink. Xuan Mo decides to keep Shu Fan around for the time being.

Shu Fan enters the Ling Tian Sect and causes trouble for every last person there. At last, Xuan Mo takes him down the mountain. Xuan Mo initially thinks Shu Fan is just a mortal, but as they spend time together, he discovers more and more mysteries about him. For instance, the longer Xuan Mo stays with Shu Fan, the less often his Dao Fruit runs wild, and when he is by Shu Fan’s side, his cultivation speed triples.

Then there is the fact that although Shu Fan is clearly from another world, he bears the Phoenix Mark of the reclusive Shu family, a cultivation-world clan that emerges to protect him whenever he is in danger.

Shu Fan and Xuan Mo investigate his origins together, but the mystery only deepens. The Shu family even hunts Shu Fan down, and eventually every clue points to the Divine Realm.

They weather countless hardships together, their bond growing ever deeper. Only in the end do they discover that fate had tied them together long ago.

There is a ring in Xuan Mo’s storage bag. He has never been able to remember where it came from, so he assumes his parents left it to him. Later, he puts the ring on Shu Fan’s finger as one of the betrothal gifts for marrying him. Shu Fan treasures it dearly.

When Xuan Mo regains his memories, he finally remembers: wasn’t this the ring he gave Xuan Mo in his previous life as a down payment for a bride? It dawns on him belatedly: he was originally the one looking for a wife, but now he’s the one marrying into someone else’s family?
