Warm Intelligence

[Family drama + light comedy + complementary personalities + urban coming-of-age + healing marriage]

When a scientist with an IQ of 187 is forced to go on a blind date with a “dimwit” auto mechanic, an absurd marriage of convenience exposes the cracks in two lonely hearts. She teaches him to read A Brief History of Time, and he takes her to watch fireflies at three in the morning. She uses mathematical models to streamline the production line at a bun shop, while he fashions a necklace depicting the stars with a wrench. The medical records his family hid, her mother-in-law’s cruel talk of “breeding,” and the whispered gossip at a work gathering all fade away with the cry of a newborn. It turns out the highest form of love is allowing the other person to be your “odd one out.”
