A Monk’s Travels Through the Mortal World

Light novel…

There was once a little monk who didn’t have his head shaved and didn’t like vegetarian food.

He ate meat and drank wine, yet his master never scolded him for it.

There were only four people in the tiny temple: the abbot, the little monk, his master, and his master’s wife.

It was called a temple, but there wasn’t a single Buddha statue inside, only a clay monk whose face was impossible to make out.

The little monk went down the mountain and saw the sights of the mortal world.

He didn’t know where he was going. Maybe he could go anywhere.
