He has the special ability to communicate with ghosts and can see spirits invisible to ordinary people. A female ghost named Lin Suxin came to Shi Yuanshan and asked him to make a special red cheongsam for her, claiming that this was her unfulfilled wish during her lifetime and she was willing to use an ancient jade button as reward.
