Lu Shiyu is the seventh prince of Beichen, the least favored of them all. He is the son of a princess from a fallen kingdom, and his mother lives in the Cold Palace. He grew up in a shabby little courtyard. His one good friend was Ji Ming, the son of a martial arts school owner.
When they grew up, Ji Ming willingly became his subordinate.
