Longing to Behold a Beauty

[Wealthy, handsome, guiding male lead × strong heroine who struggles to feel secure; both inexperienced; secret crush; bittersweet romance; from school to city life; reunited after a breakup; happy ending] Jiang Youruo falls for someone from a completely different world. In her senior year of high school, carrying emotional wounds, she selfishly cuts off all contact with Xie Lanyi for four years.

Xie Lanyi waits, helplessly, for three of them.

When they meet again, Jiang Youruo has shut herself away emotionally. He forces his way into her world, aching for the wounds she carries.

Tears welling at the corners of his eyes, Xie Lanyi murmurs, “Jiang Youruo, you made that four-year promise on your own, but I waited three years. You hurt both of us.”

Seeing the tears in his eyes, Jiang Youruo is at a loss. She clumsily tries to wipe them away, only for him to pull her into his arms.

Later, sunlight falls on barren land, and green spreads across the wilderness. Jiang Youruo finally has a sun of her own.
