Antiwar Contest: From the Start, I'm Fighting the Battle of Moscow!

In the 22nd century, humanity had conquered countless stars and grown content in a utopia.

Conspirators sang of war, young people idolized the romance of iron and blood, and even gunpowder smoke became the height of fashion.

Chen Mo gripped the carefully prepared “war” and smiled faintly.

The steel tide in Moscow at minus 40 degrees. The bloody street battles of Stalingrad. The cannon fire of aircraft carriers and battleships across the Pacific.

In Moscow's winter, players pulled triggers with numb, frozen fingers. Over the waters of Midway, they piloted carrier planes and sank alongside burning ships.

Players cheered as they put on their helmets, only to tremble like lambs when the first bomb fell.

“Welcome to the experience of real war.”

There are no invincible heroes here, only sacrifice and parting.

There is no glory to claim, only endless bloodshed and struggle.

When a boy is torn apart by an aerial bomb, when a woman buries her child in the rubble, when the price of “victory” is a million nameless corpses,

only then do people realize: peace is the most precious medal, won atop a sea of blood.

“You love war?” Chen Mo asked, looking down at the weeping players.

“Then remember well: every ‘great victory’ contains a hell of its own.”
