Cheng Mo, a 25-year-old software engineer, writes code during the day and secretly tries on stockings and practices ballet steps at night. He has longed to be a woman since he was a child, but was trapped in a male body. He could only find a moment of solace by shopping for Falke stockings online and collecting ballet albums. By chance, he met ballet dancer Lin tide backstage at the theater - a pair of torn Wolford stockings she left behind became the link between their fates.
After Lin tide discovered Cheng Mo's secret, instead of rejecting him, she taught him how to dance, helped him choose high heels, and even accompanied him through the difficult process of HRT (hormone replacement therapy).
