[BL, BE]
Cold on the outside, warm on the inside, sharp-tongued but soft-hearted (Li Shu) X sweet-talking, gloomy little puppy (Tao Si)
When his father was hospitalized with lung cancer, Li Shu returned from abroad to his hometown after twelve years away. There he saw the woman who had once made him resent his mother so deeply, along with that so-called younger brother of his, Tao Si.
Li Shu thought they would have little to do with each other from then on, but he had no idea why Tao Si kept clinging to him and refused to leave.
“Auntie, um... Tao Si is missing.”
“Huh? Little Peach? Wasn’t he just here?”
“Little Peach?” The aunt called loudly, and Little Peach’s head popped up from a pile of grass over there. “Isn’t he right there? Were you looking for him?”
When Li Shu saw Tao Si standing in front of him, safe and sound, he felt relieved, but also furious. That little brat!
“You’re really asking for a beating when you talk like that. Has no one ever hit you before?”
“Sure. Aren’t you a person?”
“If we’re not brothers, can’t we have some other kind of relationship?”
“Do you like me?”
