The Umbrella Chronicles

The world is in chaos, and evil spirits are invading. Tens of thousands of years ago, humanity's mighty cultivators fought a devastating battle against the spirits. Both sides were left badly wounded, and they reached an agreement to coexist, dividing the continent between north and south along the mighty Luo River, with neither side invading the other. To ensure humanity's survival, the great ancestors passed down the legacy of the "Paratroopers" to fight the spirits.

North of the Luo River lies Wulai Village. Whenever a child turns seven, the Paratrooper Bureau in the capital comes to select talented youngsters and recruit new blood. Seven years have passed in the blink of an eye, and Chen Zhen is now seven.

South of the Luo River, the spirits have cultivated for tens of thousands of years and grown intelligent. Their ambition to annex human territory is quietly taking root.

Beneath the Luo River lies an ancient clan, the You Clan, transformed from the ancient Dragon Clan ten thousand years ago.

Witness Chen Zhen write his legendary story in this strange and turbulent world.
