Zhou Yao is inexplicably transported to a world where everyone must survive on deserted islands. His start is miserable: while everyone else is stranded on an island, he doesn’t even have one. All he can do is cling to a few broken planks in the endless sea and hope to stay alive.
But fate seems unwilling to let him sink without a trace. As compensation, the System gives him a chance to draw a talent. His draw yields the heaven-defying SSS-rank talent “Heavenly Eye,” which lets him see through all things and discern both danger and opportunity. His own awakened talent is also SSS-rank: “Double the Luck,” which makes good things come in pairs and doubles his opportunities.
With two SSS-rank talents at his disposal, Zhou Yao decisively takes a different path. While everyone else is busy building islands for a secure life, he focuses on building warships to pursue growth. Starting from scratch with nothing but a plank, he upgrades step by step, and his strength rises at a startling pace.
When he finally reaches the pinnacle of the world and stands unrivaled, he discovers that it was all part of a shocking game of strategy, and that he is merely a tiny pawn on the board. Who is the mastermind behind it all? Can Zhou Yao turn the tables and go from pawn to player?
I personally feel that there is a bit of retro stuff added to Survival, but I can keep an eye on it, and it's nothing too poisonous.
