Time Town Storm

The protagonist Lin Xiao is an ordinary librarian, introverted and a bit lonely. While sorting out the old books in the library, he accidentally discovered an ancient, seemingly ordinary book, but there was a yellowed note on the first page of the book, which contained a message for help, signed "Guardian of Time", and mentioned that in a specific old book, there was a secret passage that could travel through time and space. Out of curiosity and inner impulse, Lin Xiao followed the instructions on the note and opened the passage hidden behind the old bookshelf on a full moon night and came to an ancient town. He met an old man who claimed to be the "Guardian of Time". The old man told him that this town is actually a key node connecting the past and the present. The so-called time travel and rebirth are completed through the specific filtering conditions of this town. The guardians have guarded this secret for generations to prevent the timeline from being destroyed. But now there is an evil force trying to invade this town, disrupt the order of time, thereby changing the course of history and bringing disaster to the future. Lin Xiao realizes that he has been chosen to be the new guardian and must find the source of that power in this town and stop it. Lin Xiao cooperated with a woman named Su Yao, and they went through many adventures together, and finally discovered that the source of the evil power was a scientist from the future. What is even more frightening is that the scientist was used by a mysterious organization, and this organization had a purpose that could destroy everything.
