Interstellar: Why Is the Gentle General So Heartless?

(Interstellar, two male leads, two male leads, two male leads!) Bai Ci, a gentle and powerful 3S-grade Omega general of the Federation, is the shining star of Omegas in the eyes of the Empire's citizens. He guarded a barren planet for twelve years. After his glands were damaged one day, he retired from the front lines, voluntarily relinquished his military command, and went to the Twelfth Star System to enjoy his retirement. As soon as he arrived at the capital planet of the Twelfth Star System, the whole network livestreamed a welcome ceremony. Xie Jinyuan, chairman of CJY, broke with his usual aloof demeanor, dropped to one knee, and gazed at him with deep affection. “General, I like you. May I pursue you?” Bai Ci's polite, fake smile froze on his face. “???” Xie Jinyuan: “You smiled at me. Does that mean you agree?” Citizens of the Twelfth Star System: Mr. Xie, where's your dignity? Xie Jinyuan: What do you know? If I weren't shameless, how could I ever win the general's heart? Bai Ci didn't want to get too involved with this clingy wolf pup, so he threatened him with a dagger and told him to behave. To his surprise, the wolf pup with a dagger at his throat lit up. “You want to try something more forceful?” Bai Ci: ... When Bai Ci was about to leave, someone asked Xie Jinyuan, “I've heard General Bai Ci is cold and heartless. Why do you like him?” Xie Jinyuan retorted, “The general just doesn't like me. He's not heartless.” The man: ... Hopelessly lovesick. When the schemes unraveled and the darkness faded, everything in the past finally settled like dust. The little flowers he had given his beloved in their youth, each one hoping to make him happy, crossed the sea of stars and time and finally blossomed into roses of confession. The aloof wolf king finally got to carry his precious little fox back to the den he'd carefully prepared. (Sweet romance at first, then thrilling and sweet.)
