Humanity has never truly understood the nature of the universe. Ever since the first Homo sapiens gazed up at the stars and tried to drive back the darkness with firelight, we have felt an almost instinctive mix of fear and longing toward the unknown. This contradiction gave rise to religion, science, and every attempt to explain “the inexplicable.” Yet the true answers remained hidden in the shadows of our understanding, until the moment we realized that the universe was not alone. In the early twenty-first century, an undisclosed quantum experiment accidentally tore open the barrier between dimensions. Although UNEDTC forces took control of the facility within moments, a set of leftover monitoring data revealed a chilling truth: our world overlapped in some way with countless parallel universes, and certain “anomalous entities” could seep through weak points of connection. They might be objects, living creatures, or even phenomena that could not be explained by conventional laws of physics. For the first time, humanity faced empirical proof of the “multiverse theory,” and for the first time, we realized we were standing at the edge of a precipice. If these connection points were allowed to expand, the laws of the two universes would erode each other, ultimately triggering irreversible annihilation.
