The Vice President's Nephew Stole My Credit, So I Made Him Take the Fall All the Way to Bankruptcy

The project I poured my heart and soul into earned the company a billion yuan in profit, but the vice president gave the credit to his nephew. I stood in a corner, my hands trembling as I nearly crushed the code documents I was holding. The vice president's nephew, who couldn't even get “Hello World” to run, was beaming as he took the stage to accept the award. The vice president came over and slung an arm around my shoulder like an old friend. “You're a contractor. These honors would be no use to you anyway.” “Zhang Hao is a promising newcomer. Make sure you mentor him well from now on.” It turned out that decades of hard work had only laid a red carpet for someone else to walk to glory. That night, I discovered a massive flaw in the project's code repository, one big enough to bring down the entire system within three days.
