On Blue Star, everyone has a chance to awaken a supernatural ability at age seventeen during their school's Spirit Awakening Ceremony. Ability grades range from F to S, while physique is rated from zero to ten stars.
Those with a zero-star physique cannot awaken an ability. Ability users can develop derivative skills from their powers to raise their ability grade.
Ability users are ranked from Tier One to Tier Seven. F-grade users can reach Tier One at most, while S-grade users can rise as high as Tier Seven.
Lu Tingxuan, a gifted student and class monitor in the honors class at a top provincial high school, awakens an F-grade sound ability.
But Lu Tingxuan doesn't panic in the slightest. “Leveling up my ability will be a piece of cake.”
