The CEO of Tianyu Capital is a little more than displeased with his latest addition to his collection of “first-love memorabilia.”
First of all, the kid is insanely violent and brutally direct.
If a problem can be solved with his hands, he won’t waste a word. Li Xu has had fiery-tempered pets before, but he’s never seen anyone like Gu Ci, who can snap someone’s finger back, grab a letter opener and stab it into their thumb, then rip off their nail in an instant. And yet, every time Gu Ci sees him, he looks utterly harmless. Li Xu thinks that instead of joining show business, Gu Ci would be better off working as an assassin in a war zone.
Second, even a psychopath would steer clear of this kid.
Other pets are kept on call around the clock and do everything they can to cling to their benefactor. This kid won’t answer calls during work hours, and outside of work he’s never free! Other pets are all smooth talk and every trick in the book in bed, but Gu Ci wants to be on top! If Li Xu doesn’t let him, he gets beaten, and not gently. Every time, Li Xu thinks Gu Ci loves him with all his might. If he weren’t clinging to that hope, he’d have killed him eight or ten times and still wouldn’t feel satisfied. And what’s even more infuriating is that whenever Gu Ci can’t win, he takes defeat as a death sentence and tells Li Xu to do as he pleases for the rest of the long night.
Sometimes Li Xu wants to dump him, too. He can’t figure out what the little troublemaker he brought home is thinking every day.
When Li Xu is having those thoughts, Gu Ci is washing dishes in the kitchen, his gaze wandering now and then to the edge of the knife rack, stocked with blades of every size.
Gu Ci doesn’t want much. He just can’t decide whether to rely on restraints or sweet talk.
Beautiful 🤤! ! !
