When Fabre was 55 years old, he used his royalties to buy a piece of wasteland in the countryside of southern France, named it "Barren Stone Garden", and began to study insects. Then he wrote the ten-volume "Insects". This book only selects more than ten kinds of insects that children like most, and adds exquisite color illustrations for primary school students to read.
