I Farm Resources in Chinese Cartoons

“Other people transmigrate into TV and film worlds to become heroes. I transmigrate just to earn money for my daughter's medicine.”

The most heartbreaking yet rousing comeback story of 2025

[Real World]

In 2025, 30-year-old chef Yan Jinlong had become a living example of hardship in Longcheng:

He earned 6,000 yuan a month and lived in a leaky rental room that cost 500 yuan a month.

His daughter took 1,000 yuan worth of anti-epileptic medication every month (sodium valproate + oxcarbazepine + topiramate).

His wife, Lü Churou, had her electric scooter impounded while working odd jobs. In the pouring rain, she knelt and begged a traffic officer: “The 200-yuan fine is what two bottles of my daughter's medicine cost!”

[Strange Encounter]

Then, one night, something extraordinary happened.

“Ding! Obsession value exceeds the limit. The Domestic Animation Self-Rescue System has been activated!”

And many more, too blurry to make out... films and TV shows... and so on.

Scene after scene from films and TV shows appeared in his mind. A cold mechanical voice rang out: “Transmission channel under construction. The channel will open in 24 hours...”

My dear family, wait for me. I'll be back soon.
