Infinite: Joining the God's Gate of Wishes

[Infinite-loop horror + light rules + no romance + plot twists]

At first, one person among all humanity simply thought they had casually downloaded a “game” called “Wishing Gate” from a gaming website.

The “game” appeared first on the homepages of all the major download platforms, and its listing had even been deliberately enlarged, so the number of downloads soared.

Then someone noticed that it was listed first in every category, from film and games to social media and travel... This was probably more than just a game.

The app had a black background, with a straight white line blurred across the center, like a door being pushed open. Its mysterious style and minimalist description caught people’s attention even more.

An app that only allowed users to register under their real names swept across the world.

Humans, after all, are even more curious than cats...

In just a few days, registered users had surpassed three-quarters of the global population.

The app called Wishing Gate was bizarre in the extreme. Technical experts around the world couldn’t take it down, and no one knew what it was for.

Then the first player inexplicably died. A second, a third... More and more players were found dead for no apparent reason, and the global population began to plummet.

It turned out that those who joined the app weren’t the ones making wishes. They became emissaries, helping others fulfill their wishes. But where were those wish-makers?

Only by finding a wish-maker, fulfilling all their wishes, and finding the clue item could a player leave a level alive. If they failed to complete the task or died inside a level, they would die in the real world, too.
