The Actor Game: Becoming Human in a Doomsday Livestream

[Human Nature + Ensemble Cast + Slow Burn + One Heroine]

When the world becomes an absurd reality show and survival comes at the cost of selling your soul, what would you choose?

In the near future, the supernatural resurfaces, and reality overlaps with apocalyptic instances. A brutal competition called The Role-Player Game drags all of humanity into the fray. Players are forced into different apocalyptic scenarios, such as zombie wastelands, strange horrors, and cyberpunk worlds, where they must play roles randomly assigned by the System: doctors, con artists, teachers, criminals. They must complete their characters’ missions to survive. Every struggle and every choice they make is livestreamed to viewers in the real world. Tips and comments become the stakes that decide who lives and dies.
