Voice Chat Room: My Former CP Is the Boy Band's Lead Vocalist

Voice-chat livestreaming + a little showbiz + a fake second-chance romance + a cast full of jokers

Sunny, puppy-like, devoted seme (younger) × sensitive, gentle, flirtatious uke (older)

During the heyday of voice-chat livestream rooms, almost everyone knew of Misty Isle Voice Lounge.

The pairing of wy. Shiguang and wy. Po'an once dominated the screen. Their ship name, Po'an Shiguang, even outranked a host of drama-promo pairings to stay in the top ten of the entire CP rankings.

But just as the duo reached their 200-day anniversary, Po'an suddenly ended his contract and vanished without a trace.

He was gone for a whole year.

When they met again, it was in a livestream. During Shiji's broadcast, a hugely popular idol suddenly joined the call. The moment he picked up, Shiji recognized him.

It was Po'an, who had left without a word all those years ago.

His former partner had become the lead singer of a popular overseas boy band, and Shiji didn't know how to react.

“Zheng Bo!” Shiji blurted out the name before he could stop himself. Only then did he realize that a year had never been enough to make him forget the other man completely.

It was also the first time Shiji had seen Zheng Bo's full face. The man on the other end simply smiled when he heard his name, his smile helpless and fond. “What are we going to do now, Little Shiguang? Looks like everyone knows my name.”

Po'an Shiguang: at last, time to find a place to call home.

(For this story, please understand “CP” as a partnership. I'll do my best to explain the specific industry terminology. Shiji is his real name, Shiguang is his nickname in the voice room, and Zheng Bo is his real name, Abel is his stage name, and Po'an is his nickname in the voice room.)
