The Great Yi Divine Physician

Yang Lansheng began studying traditional Chinese medicine as a child under a rural doctor. By the age of seven or eight, he was already diagnosing patients. When he was fifteen or sixteen, a family member developed acute appendicitis and quickly recovered after surgery at the county hospital. The experience deeply affected him, inspiring him to study modern medicine so he could relieve people's suffering. But after graduating and working for more than twenty years, he saw that Western medicine had many shortcomings too, and turned back to traditional Chinese medicine. Frustrated by the state of the field, he set out to build his ideal hospital. After ten years of hard work, his venture failed, leaving him with nothing. Then he unexpectedly met a great mentor who passed on everything he knew. From then on, Yang's fortunes seemed to take off. After experiencing countless romances and mastering the ways of business, he reached the age of fifty, and, with help from a mysterious beauty, overcame hardship after hardship to become a renowned miracle doctor. He also established the country's largest research and cultivation base for Chinese medicinal herbs.
