In the not-too-distant future, a group of ambitious people unites humanity and establishes the Earth Federation. But in its bid to seize control of technological advances, the Federation turns its guns on one of its leaders, Dr. O’Connor, who holds the core technology. Forced to flee alone to the moon, Dr. O’Connor leaves his son Mike on Earth, along with a robot companion capable of self-evolution: John. As Mike grows up, he is forced to flee the Earth sphere and gets caught up in the war between the Earth Federation and the lunar resistance. He takes up his father’s cause and becomes one of the resistance leaders. Meanwhile, John, the robot left behind on Earth, is drawn into the Federation’s ranks. A human and a machine, once as close as brothers, are forced by the tides of fate to take opposing sides...
