A retired assassin goes into hiding, but his wife and daughter are kidnapped. The scene is marked with the symbol of his former death: the Ace of Spades.
To save his family, the Reaper returns.
But when he rescues his loved ones in a blood-soaked battle, his daughter points at the family portrait in his hand and screams in terror: "The person in the picture... isn't you!"
His face is fake, his memories are hazy, and even his very self may be a weapon.
Now, hunted by powerful forces on all sides, he must protect his family while uncovering the truth behind his bloody origins.
In this war, with his own life as the wager, he cannot afford to lose.
