Chu He, a modern man, transmigrates into the world of Snow in the Northern Plains as the Crown Prince of Western Chu. He activates a System, saves Wu Su during the White-Clad Case, rises to power, and successfully restores his kingdom. After the gravely injured Chu He is rescued by Wu Su, Princess Consort of Northern Liang, she recognizes him but chooses to protect him. She treats his wounds and teaches him the basics of martial arts, showing a kindness that transcends political loyalties.
The secret agents known as the “Shadow Blades,” sent by the Liyang Dynasty, track him down. Chu He is forced to leave the Northern Liang Prince's residence. The princess consort gives him a token and martial arts manuals, and secretly arranges for guards to escort him.
Using the System's abilities and the sword techniques he learned from the princess consort, Chu He kills his pursuers on the run and completes his first System mission, earning more rewards and strengthening his resolve to restore his kingdom.
Chu He's experiences after transmigrating, gaining a System, being rescued by the Northern Liang princess consort, and facing pursuers for the first time show how he begins his transformation from a modern man into a ruler in a chaotic age.
