From the Start, I Transmigrated as a Nine-Tailed Fox, with Zhang Qiling as My Teammate

Yin You, a modern archaeology student, touches a mysterious bronze door while exploring an ancient tomb and transmigrates to another world, where history has fractured and spiritual energy is quietly returning. He also turns into a nine-tailed fox cub and is bound to the Divine Beast Evolution System. He must complete tasks to regain human form.

Newly arrived in this strange world, Yin You is attacked by low-ranking demons, but is rescued by Zhang Qiling, who has also transmigrated there. Bound together by the System, the two set off on their journey. As they explore historical ruins, they repeatedly face danger, fighting demons and collecting divine artifact fragments everywhere from an ancient temple in a shopping mall to an old academy and a subway station. Yin You gradually learns to control the power of his bloodline.

A secret meeting on Antique Street becomes a key turning point. Xie Yuchen enters the story. An antique dealer and information broker, he knows the secrets of the supernatural world and joins forces with the two. Yin You overuses his healing abilities, throwing his demonic power out of balance, and Zhang Qiling stays by his side all night, bringing them closer. Xie Yuchen shows them fragments of an ancient text, revealing the connection between the Nine-Tailed Fox Clan and the Zhang family and hinting that the two were destined to meet. Yin You awakens his ability to bewitch his enemies, but suffers a backlash, revealing the cost of his power. The two also try disguising their identities, adding some humor to the tension. After that, the Special Affairs Bureau and the Guixu organization enter the fray. Can the two collect all the divine artifacts and restore the balance between humans and demons? A fantastical adventure begins.
