The Beginning of Mutation

Mutations and transformations + overwhelming strength and brains + everyday urban life + hard-hitting combat

“Ever heard of Darwin’s theory of evolution? Survival of the fittest, elimination of the weak, natural selection. It doesn’t just change how organisms behave. On a deeper level, it affects the mind and genes too. Do you understand?”

“Don’t get carried away. Just pay my mission stipend first. I’m waiting on that money to put food on the table!”

“Didn’t I tell you? You need to change mentally, too! What happened to your ideological awareness?”

“I only have a genetic mutation. I haven’t evolved to the point where I don’t need to eat.”

“Fine! Let’s settle accounts. Why did you demolish someone’s house while dealing with an anomaly? How many times have I told you to control your strength? And then there’s this…! That old lady you took for a free-fall experience last time is still shaking hands and all! Was it really so hard to take her down the stairs? Fining you was a last resort!”

“First of all, that old lady was already very old. She was highly likely to have Parkinson’s. You can’t blame me for that!”

Seeing his boss rub his temples and turn away with a headache, Zhou Huai awkwardly touched his nose.

It really wasn’t his fault! Once he got carried away in a fight, he just couldn’t control himself!
