Ji Changge, a farmer's son, ventures into a restricted zone where cultivators are fighting to gather herbs and save his seriously ill mother. By chance, the damaged "Mirror of the Great Void" recognizes him as its master.
The Mirror of the Great Void is actually an ancient immortal artifact. It contains fragments of the Great Void Dao Scripture and an artifact spirit named "Elder Ming," who helps Ji Changge embark on the path of cultivation.
