Ballad of the Azure Sky: The White Snake's Trial of the Heart

At the Peach Banquet in Yaochi, a prophecy about the Nuwa Stone comes to light, and the White Snake sneaks into Lin'an in search of the person destined for her. In front of Baohe Hall, where the scent of herbs fills the air, she watches a scholar in a blue robe bend down to pick up the Yellow Emperor's Inner Canon, then suddenly hears the heartbeat that has lain still for a thousand years. Who could have guessed that this gentle physician, devoted to saving lives, is actually the incarnation of an ancient spirit stone coveted by the Three Realms? When the residual soul of the Demon Venerable possesses Fahai's kasaya, Erlang Shen's third eye glimpses the Queen Mother's secret, and the Great Sage Equal to Heaven stirs the spring waters of Yaochi with his golden cudgel, this encounter, which began amid the misty rains of Qiantang, will ultimately become a song of upheaval across the Three Realms, sung beyond the thirty-third heaven.
