Little Country Doctor: Madam, the General Is Sick Again

Practicing medicine, farming, opening a shop to make money, devoted to one another, and all the everyday family drama

Qiao Lexuan, a modern doctor of traditional Chinese medicine, dies suddenly and transmigrates into the body of a ten-year-old little girl.

On the very first day after being reborn, the hands that once healed the sick and saved lives “slay” a bandit.

She follows her family as they flee into the deep mountains.

Then the war ends.

Her eldest sister uses her culinary skills to become a “health-and-beauty goddess,” making a fortune, but her marriage troubles turn the household upside down.

Her second sister is a master craftswoman, always at the forefront of fashion, yet she and the tailor across the street are a bickering pair who can’t help falling for each other.

Her fourth sister is even more astonishing, chasing after an escort captain every day and insisting on roaming the martial world.

Well, well.

A daughter can’t be kept at home forever, but her eldest and second younger brothers are clamoring to join the army, nearly driving the mothers of the household to their graves.

Qiao Lexuan watches the commotion from the sidelines. She thinks she’ll simply keep her head down, treat the sick, and live out her days that way.

She never expects the young general she hasn’t seen in years to become so “frail and helpless,” summoning her to his home for treatment every few days.

Guard: “Help, Doctor Qiao! Our general is coughing up blood again.”

Qiao Lexuan: “If he can be treated, I’ll treat him. If he can’t, then he can just die!!!”
