Come Into My Arms

Set during the Great Chu Dynasty, Please Let Me Into Your Heart paints a vivid picture of power struggles, romance, and chivalry.

Su Yao, the cherished daughter of Su, the wealthiest man in Jianglin City, is both beautiful and talented. Yet, by her parents' arrangement, she is betrothed to Mo Yuchen, the great general of Zhenyuan. On the way to the wedding, Marquis Chu Yi of Jing'an accidentally barges into her bridal sedan while pursuing the remnants of a rebel faction, and the two become connected. Su Yao already resents the arranged marriage, and Chu Yi's appearance is like a ray of light piercing her confusion.

After marrying into the general's household, Su Yao discovers that Mo Yuchen has allied himself with martial arts factions and plans to stage a rebellion during the royal hunt. She and the Second Madam, who has also sensed something amiss, discreetly follow the clues and find a way to contact Chu Yi. When Chu Yi learns the truth, he and Su Yao work together from within and without, confronting Mo Yuchen in a fight to the death at the royal hunting grounds. In the end, Chu Yi foils Mo Yuchen's rebellion and saves the emperor from danger.

The crisis, however, is not entirely over. The remnants of the martial arts factions allied with Mo Yuchen are still lurking in the shadows. For the peace of the Great Chu Dynasty, and so he can live in peace with Su Yao, Chu Yi decides to venture into the martial world and wipe them out. He leads his men in fierce battles against strongholds belonging to the Black Wind Stronghold, Wild Wolf Valley, Clear Wind Stronghold, and other factions. Facing one peril after another, he repeatedly turns danger into safety with his wisdom and courage.

Though Su Yao cannot accompany Chu Yi on his adventures in the martial world, she uses her status and connections in the capital to gather intelligence and contact loyal and righteous allies, quietly supporting him from behind the scenes. Though they are far apart, they remain devoted to one another, and their love grows stronger through separation and worry.
