Light Novel + Anime Culture + Western Fantasy + ACGN
Akiba Hayato is a hardcore otaku immersed in Akihabara culture, with an inner life fueled entirely by anime, manga, games, and light novels. His lifelong faith rests in the FGO gacha, the Uma Musume URA Finals, and max-constellation, max-refinement Genshin Impact characters. His philosophy is, “As long as I have enough waifu characters, who cares about reality?” That is, until he gets sent to another world by the legendary Truck-kun while rushing to buy a limited-edition Demon Slayer collaboration cup noodle. And not just any world: he’s reincarnated as Rosalind von Estabrook, the doomed villainess from the otome game Aria of Stars and Roses, which his little sister had forced him to play!
Rosalind (Hayato) originally only wanted to live peacefully until the game’s ending. But then he sees the gacha System, full of endless possibilities (and giant pitfalls), and this world, which seems far more dangerous than the original game and hides a despairing truth worthy of Dark Souls. He silently clenches his fists.
“Fine. If I can’t go back, then I’ll use all the ACGN knowledge I’ve accumulated and this damn gacha mobile game to turn this other world upside down! For SSRs! For survival!”
And so, wearing the guise of a villainess but with the heart of a seasoned otaku, Rosalind begins a wild adventure of frantically pulling cards, making snarky references, and trying to save the world (and maybe win its favor along the way?).
