Sun Yu is a transmigrator whose only dream is to be a security guard.
Unfortunately, on his very first day on the job, he's told to perform at the school anniversary celebration.
After singing "Love Song from the West Sea," he wins the favor of the school leaders. From then on, there's no stopping him. His hopes of lying flat and slacking off go unrealized, and he only gets busier!
Many years later, when a reporter interviews him, Sun Yu still says the same thing: I really just wanted to be a security guard!
