Hong Kong Crossover: The Most Arrogant Villain

[I’m fishing for more than fish, I’m fishing for the underworld] At the Sham Shui Po pier in 1982, I lay sprawled in a pool of briny, bloodied water, covered in knife wounds.

At death’s door, the Fishing System suddenly activated. My very first draw was the Sword Saint’s legacy!

As twelve machetes came swinging down at my head, I cast my line into the storm. A flash of cold light passed, and twenty-four broken blades were embedded in the bluestone pavement.

Uncle Deng gently blew across the rim of his teacup in the teahouse. “That young man’s fit to take charge of Wo Sing Wo.” When Lok smashed an ashtray, I was using my fishing rod to hook the moon above Victoria Peak.

The blood was still warm, and my blade was already drawn. With the System at my side, all of Hong Kong Island was my fishing pond.
